BEGIN SLIDESHOW Lashana Lynch replaces DeWanda Wise in Captain Marvel According to The Hollywood Reporter, English actress Lashana Lynch (ABC’s Still Star-Crossed, Brotherhood) has replaced DeWanda Wise in the upcoming Marvel Studios film Captain Marvel. The nature of the character is still unknown. Wise’s departure from the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie was announced yesterday and is due to scheduling conflicts with the Netflix series She’s Gotta Have It. John Cho joins The Grudge reboot Variety reports that actor John Cho (Harold & Kumar, Star Trek) has joined the cast of the upcoming reboot of The Grudge from Sony. Cho joins a cast that includes Demian Bichir (The Nun) and Andrea Riseborough (Waco). Sam Raimi, who produced the first two installments of the American versions of the horror trilogy, is producing alongside Rob Tapert for Ghost House.
